Louis Victor Pierre Raymond de Broglie, duc de Broglie (/dəˈbrɔɪ/; French: [dəbʁɔj] or [dəbʁœj] (listen); 15 August 1892 – 19 March 1987) was a French physicist who made groundbreaking contributions to quantum theory.
